Here’s one with me and my kids, while waiting on my session. Had Erica snap a few of me… I would so much rather be BEHIND the camera than in front of it!

Here’s a sneak peek from Brett & Jackie’s family session. Thank you for coming out and allowing me to capture our beautiful family! Hope you love these as much as I do…

I had the pleasure of meting up with this beautiful family again. I’ve photographed them on several occasions, especially the boys. Ever since little Will was 4 weeks old. (He’s the chubby cheeked baby you see on the splash page of my website!) It’s amazing to see how much they change and what new things they have learned. And knowing Ben is more shy than his outgoing little brother, he actually called me a “new friend!” It means a lot that he’s starting to warm up to me. :)

The weather was perfect, the sessions went great and I got to see past clients that I hadn’t seen since their babies were newborns. It was full of excitement, to say the least. And to top it all off, I even managed to end my final session of the day with a graceful crash and fall….I stepped on top of a wooden crate I use sometimes to get a downward angle with the camera and…yep. I totally fell through the wooden crate, lost my balance and BOOM–I landed on my butt. But the camera was not harmed! Whew! Thank God. (And neither was I!)

I can’t thank everyone enough for coming out and choosing me to photograph your beautiful families. I know photographer area dime a dozen these days so it means a lot to me! Here is the sneak peek of the last day of mini sessions. It was great to see everyone!

Despite the drizzle toward the end of the day, day two of the mini sessions went very well! Thank you to everyone who could make it out today!

Here’s a peek at Day One of this year’s Holiday Mini Sessions. The location is turning out to be excellent! Let’s pray that the rain will hold off long enough for us to get through shooting our sessions for Day Two! Thank you to everyone who came out!

It hasn’t been long since I photographed Britton when he was a newborn baby. And here he is, so stinkin’ cute at 18 months old. And now he’s a big brother too! Little Miss Lindley is quite the opposite of her big brother in personality already. Britton, as newborn, was so sleepy and quiet! And Miss Lindley, at 7 days old, was quite content to stay awake and look around and have a snack in between shots. It was fine with me as I love photographing the bright eyes of a brand new baby. :) Here’s a little bit from our session. You can’t tell from the images, but Lindley was very alert almost the entire time I was there! It was fun getting to hang out with the family though. Congratulations! Hope you guys enjoy this!!!

I had a great time photographing Daniel & Stacy in Anderson, South Carolina. The weather couldn’t been more perfect for a photo session! We started out at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion with the kids… And luckily, we managed to get plenty of shots because it wasn’t long before we were promptly told to get off the premises! The deputy better be glad he said he was a preacher because I wasn’t thinking very nice things when he said I couldn’t shoot without a permit. (yeah, it must be a south carolina thing… Who knows?) So then we found a nice little alley and broke out the silly string and let them all have it out in a brief, yet hilarous silly string war. :) The kids were really diggin’ on that. Then they left and I got to use the rest of the perfect evening light to shoot Daniel & Stacy alone together. You guys are beautiful people and I’m so happy to know you. Can’t wait for the wedding!

I was thrilled when Angela asked me to photograph her wedding day. I knew that she had been waiting for this big day to come for her and Bradford. I don’t know another couple more loving and connected than these two. There were too many images that I loved so I had to try and trim down the sneak peek–but I didn’t do a very good job! This is a HUGE post with TONS of pics from their special day! Thank you guys for allowing me to capture all the intimate, meaningful moments during this day. I cannot wait to finish the rest of the images to show you everything! Until then, I hope this will hold you over.

Congratulations, Angela & Bradford. May you two cherish each other for the rest of your days…
