July 28, 2009Some snaps I took the other evening. It was so hot! Ashlyn and Brent both had the flushed cheeks from heat. I thought these Superman PJs were so funny with the cape on the back. These kids make me smile. I’m so glad to be home with them more.
By the way, these were all taken with my little point & shoot camera. A little Canon Powershot SX110 IS. Not bad, huh? Just goes to show that if you know how to use your camera, you can produce decent images. You don’t have to have a fancy SLR to say you can take good pictures. Oh. And a little help from Photoshop to clean them up a bit doesn’t hurt either. 
A Birth Story: Baby Fletcher
July 26, 2009My friend Dana had THE perfect natural birth. I mean perfect. No drugs of any kind. She took each contraction, one at a time. She had the loving support of her husband who never left her side. And the undivided attention from her FANTASTIC midwife, Meredith. Her passion for childbirth truly radiates from her being. And her nurse, Jackie, was SO great too! I’m happy that Dana got the birth she wanted. I’m so proud of her!
