I love this little man. I love holding him every time I see him. He’s such a good “holding” baby! He snuggles right against me, resting his cheek against mine. Mmmmm….Can’t beat good ole baby lovin’! Dana and I hung out at my house all day, letting the kids play and chase after Chloe, our new Shitzu puppy. Fun times!

Okay, so I HAVE to point out to everyone reading this blog post, that baby Fletcher is a CLONE of his big bro Eli. Below is Fletcher…

And below is Eli, wearing the exact same hat at the same age. A clone, I tell ya!

One of my bestest friends, Dana. I see this image of her and I tell myself, “I will never eat again. I’m going to workout everyday.” Ugh! She’s so frickin beautiful! And that baby she’s snuggling with doesn’t even LOOK like he came from her. Haha! Yeah, both of her boys are 100% daddy. I think she should keep having children until she has one that looks like her! (No offense, Jeff. But it’s only fair that you guys have at least ONE kid that looks like Dana.)

I couldn’t resist attempting the hanging baby shot with him. And he tolerated it–for all of about 5 seconds. Haha!

I snapped one really quick of my son, Brent with his best friend, Eli. Like I said–it was really quick!

The many adorable faces of Mr. Eli.

I had to add one with Eli and the mustache I got out of a gumball machine. Ha! A good laugh. :)

ella. Part II {3 weeks old}

November 16, 2009

So I went back for more of this tiny little girl. I always call her little “Peanut.” And mom had an adorable sleeper on her that said the same thing! So, of course, I had to share it. :) This session, I came equipped with a bigger tower heater and heating pad. She was so toasty, her little rolls were sticky with sweat, lol! But she was putty on my beanbag. Ha! Like I said before, this was the first time I’ve  EVER had to redo a session. But it was SO worth it. I just love her!

He’s just the happiest, most loveable, huggable baby! I could have held him all day! But it also it didn’t hurt my feelings to lay him down and get some ADORABLE photographs of him! He fell asleep at the end of our session in his mommy’s arms in a matter SECONDS. He was awake one minute and then the next, I was able to watch his eyelids get heavy with sleep as he drifted off. I was also privileged to have photographed his birth back in July. :)

My favorite baby age (besides newborn, of course!) to photograph. And age where they can sit up for a little while, maybe crawl a little, and they’re brimming with personality. They laugh, they’re curious and they’re a perfect pint size. And this little guy was no exception! He was so happy the entire time I was there. Although he didn’t care to sit up for us, he crawled around like it was nobody’s business! *sigh* Just the cutest baby. Really. :) Oh, and by the way, his eyes are insanely blue! Nope–NO photoshop enhancement either! I even showed his mommy how blue eyes are right from my camera. They are so beautifully blue! I had a lot of fun with this session!

ella. part I {13 days old}

November 4, 2009

She’s my favorite newborn even though she never wanted to fall asleep. We tried everything to get her to fall asleep but she cared nothing for it! Mom says she slept for two 4 hour stretches during the night so when I showed up, miss Ella was wide awake. :) It’s ok. I didn’t mind cuddling with her. I call her my favorite because I just fell in love with her at the hospital. She was born a whole 4 pounds and 8 ounces. So tiny! But she was perfect. But because she wouldn’t sleep for me today, I’m totally going back for more! So stay tuned for part II of her newborn images. The sleeping shots posted here are from a mere 10 minutes max. I had to work fast! But it just wasn’t fast enough. That’s okay. I don’t mind seeing her again. :) I’m loving what I did get!

He’s 3 months old and oh so sweet and chubby. I did his newborn session when he was 4 weeks old. He’s gotten so big! He made me smile cooing at his mommy during his session. I arrived when he was napping and it took him a little while to wake up even when we shed his sleeper and slid on a diaper cover. As he woke up, he was so sweet! Just slowly blinking, sucking his thumb, looking at me with my big black camera like I was some crazy person…But he did so good. We tried to get his big brother, but he wasn’t feeling well. We did take him outside to see how he would do, and he wanted none of it! I did manage to snap one or two good ones of him though. I posted one at the end of the sneak peek. Thank you for letting coming back. It was a joy to get to see him again.

I finally had the chance to meet my great niece, Kayleigh Anne. What a precious little bundle of squishiness. I enjoyed getting to snuggle with her. :)
