Meet little Natalie. A feisty little 2 week old who fought sleep as hard as she could. But with some patience, I was able to get some adorable images of her. I couldn’t get over how sweet and fuzzy she is! She has the hairiest little shoulders. And I find it so adorable! (Probably the only time I would see body hair as adorable, ha!) Her mommy and I work together at the Family Birth Center–she’s a nurse too! I was so excited to be able to photograph her beautiful family. Hope you like these!

britton. {Athens Newborn Photography}

Britton is to date, the sweetest, sleepiest, squishiest, most perfect newborn baby. I couldn’t have asked for a more laidback subject. I truly enjoyed doing this session for his parents. He’s so beautiful-from his gorgeous lips to the sweet fuzziness on his shoulders. What a pleasure it was. :)

lana. {Athens Baby Photographer}

Little miss Lana isn’t a newborn. Oh no–she’s 3 months old but she let me pose her like she was brand new, for almost half of her session! I haven’t even gone through all the shots we got. I can say that we got more variety than any session I’ve ever done. All because miss Lana was so good for us. Thanks, Laura & Erik, for letting me document her time as a 3 month old sweet sack of sugar!

Briley. {Athens Newborn Photographer}

Look at her! The sweetest baby. Mom had so many hats and bows for her session, it was like a kid in a candy store for me. I can’t get enough of these things for little girls. It was such a smooth session–and probably my shortest newborn session yet! Of course, it was cut short because my son broke his arm at the sitter’s house. But I could have gone on and on and on with this session. Briley was so good! Hope you like these. I have to say that the first one is my favorite to date! Thank for sharing the hat!

be still, my heart. {elijah ~ 12 days old}

I have to share little bit of Elijah’s story. He has come into this world from two parents who love him so very much. Every day of the pregnancy was nerve-racking. Worried that something would happen. Just as it did with his big brother Caleb, who now resides with our Lord in heaven. Caleb was born still at 37 weeks and is very much celebrated till this day. But thankfully, Elijah grew wonderfully inside his mother’s womb and was born very much alive into this world. He is such a sweet little boy. He slept the entire time I was there in their home. That’s why I’m sharing such a HUGE variety of images I was able to get. And these aren’t even ALL the poses we got!  But without further ado, I feel so privileged to to be able to share these. Congratulations, Miranda and Josh. Thank you for allowing me into your home and hearts to get these precious, intimate photographs of your son. :)

mollie rose. {12 days old}

Meet little Mollie Rose. I did her mommy’s maternity session too. It was such a treat to finally meet her and hold her and watch her sleep. She was SUCH an angel for us during the session. So sweet. Watching her root around when she wanted a snack and make those sweet, silly expression during sleep. I loved every minute of it!

 

Thanks, Rachel & David. What a joy! She won’t be like this for long. Glad you let me document this brief time for you.
