Little Mr. Chandler was such a pleasure to photograph. The most laid back baby boy! There were SO many to choose from to post a sneak peek. But here are just a few…

Mr. Cale decide to make his debut into this world 2 weeks early. And never have I seen a newborn baby look more like his mommy! What an adorable little boy he is. I’ve been so excited to meet him since I did his mommy’s maternity session, which you can see here. Congratulations, mom & dad! :)

Such a Big Boy!

June 4, 2010

It’s so hard to believe how fast our children grow. No matter how hard we try to savor every single sweet moment with them, they’re still growing up right before your very eyes. I’ve known Mr. Caleb since he was born. And he’s come such a long way! He had a rocky journey as a baby but he’s living proof of resiliency! What a sweet boy he is! And so smart! Thanks, Alison, for letting me snap a few pics of him today. :)

I had so much fun spending the afternoon with Silas and his gorgeous family. You may recognize his mommy–I did her maternity a couple of months ago. You can see the blog post here. During her maternity session, I discovered how she loved horsesĀ and so I couldn’t resist suggesting the ‘baby on the saddle shot.’ I was so excited that she wanted it as much as I did! So fast forward to her newborn session for Silas and we attempt the shot–about 5 different times! He wasn’t consenting to any of it! We went about our session and got a ton of other shots but right before calling it quits, his mommy suggested we try one more time. And so we did. And we got it! But I’m saving the best for last so you have to scroll through all the other awesome sneak peeks I edited to see it! :)

Both boys are having a snack when daddy says “And this little piggy cried wee, wee, wee all the way home!”

And the shot we tried a bunch of times. Whew! And so glad we got it! ;) Thank you, Leigh & Ross for allowing me to capture your children during this unforgettable time.

Jordan and Charles Mixson, MD are awaiting the arrival of their first born son. No names yet though! It’s okay–they still have plenty of time. :) We did the session in their home, that’s undergoing some serious rennovations, but we had a perfect area to work with. And the house is going to be gorgeous when they get finished with it! These people are so beautiful! With parents that look like they do, you can imagine that this sweet baby boy is going to be just stunning! I can’t wait to meet him!

Here’s one for the couple–the lovely house is all its rennovation glory. :)

Britton is to date, the sweetest, sleepiest, squishiest, most perfect newborn baby. I couldn’t have asked for a more laidback subject. I truly enjoyed doing this session for his parents. He’s so beautiful-from his gorgeous lips to the sweet fuzziness on his shoulders. What a pleasure it was. :)

I feel compelled to share in the truly inspiring story of a newborn baby boy. His name is Hogan. Hogan was born at 37 weeks by c-section, weighing in at 3 pounds and 3 ounces. He has a chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 18. Trisomy 18 is a condition that is not compatible with life. His strength, determination, his family’s faith in the Lord leaves me in awe. This is his birth story. You can read more about his journey on his blog at http://hogandominy.blogspot.com Please pray for Hogan and his family during this difficult time.

This sweet little guy made our session such a pleasure! And he’s got a great big brother too! I could help but edit a big handful of these. I couldn’t narrow them down! Hope you like these!

I must be on a roll with sweet, sleepy babies! Zane barely protested anything I did. What a little darling he is. Had to post a few to show him off. :)
