Meet little Natalie. A feisty little 2 week old who fought sleep as hard as she could. But with some patience, I was able to get some adorable images of her. I couldn’t get over how sweet and fuzzy she is! She has the hairiest little shoulders. And I find it so adorable! (Probably the only time I would see body hair as adorable, ha!) Her mommy and I work together at the Family Birth Center–she’s a nurse too! I was so excited to be able to photograph her beautiful family. Hope you like these!

Little miss Josey decided to make her debut into this world almost 5 weeks early! She’s so sweet and petite. I just loved photographing her. Thanks, Ty and Charann, for having me over! Can’t wait to go through the rest of the pictures. :)

Oh my goodness. If this woman had told me she was a model, I would have TOTALLY believed her! Her cute pregnant body is just so perfect! We started our session inside, and then made our way outside to the horse stable. If my daughter had seen her horses, the stable, the barn–she would have been in horse heaven. (Ashlyn’s crazy about horses, if you didn’t know already!) But to see Leigh out there with her horse, talking to him, made her even more beautiful. And now I can’t WAIT to meet this little guy! Stay tuned in the coming months to see his newborn session~:)

This family holds a special place in my heart. I am in awe of their emotional strength and faith in God. This is a pregnancy that is special to them. Each and every day is savored while at the same time, anxiously awaiting the birth of their baby, Hogan, so that they can hold him and kiss him until the end of time. You can read about Hogan and his family’s story on their blog at: http://hogandominy.blogspot.com

I’m praying for you. And I’m looking forward to witnessing his birth into this world.

I have to share little bit of Elijah’s story. He has come into this world from two parents who love him so very much. Every day of the pregnancy was nerve-racking. Worried that something would happen. Just as it did with his big brother Caleb, who now resides with our Lord in heaven. Caleb was born still at 37 weeks and is very much celebrated till this day. But thankfully, Elijah grew wonderfully inside his mother’s womb and was born very much alive into this world. He is such a sweet little boy. He slept the entire time I was there in their home. That’s why I’m sharing such a HUGE variety of images I was able to get. And these aren’t even ALL the poses we got!  But without further ado, I feel so privileged to to be able to share these. Congratulations, Miranda and Josh. Thank you for allowing me into your home and hearts to get these precious, intimate photographs of your son. :)

This baby boy is so special. His family holds a special place in my heart and has gone through such an emotional journey. I love them to pieces. I volunteered to photograph her birth, but, unfortunately, timing just wasn’t on our side. But the next day, I finally got to meet Mr. Elijah and feel the relief and joy and emotional sigh in the weight of his warm, squishy tiny body and the little coos and whimpers he makes. Congratulations. I’ll see you soon for more newborn pictures!

A friend or family member of theirs brought them this fuzzy blanket as a gift. So of course I had to open it, spread it out and put him on it!

Oh how I love my job! Yet another sweet, squishy newborn baby. She fought sleep for a little while, but eventually she gave in and let me do just about everything I wanted. Mom & dad didn’t know her gender until she was born. A sweet surprise! You couldn’t ask for anything more precious.

Hope you guys love these as much as I do!

This is Cody. Look at his teeth! He looks like he’s smiling! After a little inservice on shitzus from this wonderful family, and then getting to visit with Mr. Cody, it’s all kind of got me wanting to get one for our family too! I never knew that a long haired dog that didn’t shed existed! And hypoallergenic to boot. Cool!

kfarrowcollageweb2What a schweet lil pumpkin!!! Isn’t he just adorable? He was a perfect, sleepy, snuggly, poop-free little guy. And there I was, before the session started, warning mom about poop. And I reassured her that it was completely okay (which it is folks–everything they lay on is washable!). And he never did it! What a treat it was to hang out with this sweet sweet baby boy. Thanks for having me! It was fun!

Sweet Little William.

August 7, 2009

Oh my goodness. The most beautiful little baby boy.  He was gracious enough to give us both awake AND sleepy newborn baby shots at all of 4 weeks old. And his mommy was gracious enough to get in a couple of the shots as well. She’s so BEAUTIFUL! Her skin is so creamy. Like milk. :) Enjoy these! I think we got some great ones!
